Named after the hill it was designed for, The Whangie is a solid all leather hiking boot that's also at home in town, with our trademark wide toe and bellows tongue to keep the bog out. A Vibram Teton sole grips in deep mud and on wet rocks.

All day comfort in the mountains, the streets or at the bar.

Handmade on our "Loup" last which is medium width through the midfoot and heel with a wide "barefoot" style toe box letting your toes splay in unrestricted comfort. 

These boots have Vibram rubber over low stack height leather soles for flexibility, stability and lighter weight. Strengthened with reinforced toe and heel counter, low stack height sole for stability and lighter weight. Seams are sealed during stitching for additional waterproofing, along with the seam-sealed full bellows tongue the bog/foot seperation is maintained. 

These boots are re-solable, like all our range. We recommend our friends at Timpson.co.uk for those in the UK. Regular waxing with Grangers G wax will see these last you a very long time.

Our boots will mould to your feet as you wear them and it's important to set the tongues up to break in comfortably, see our tutorial on getting them ready for use.
